Start with the visual guide, then read through the brief for each deliverable before you dive into your design tool.

What you'll be designing

There are seven deliverables in total, spread across two campaigns. We'd love to see every asset below completed for both.

I'm sorry if I'm adding to your stress

Colour Launch Campaign

Sale Campaign

Design tools

Please create your work in one of the following:

Ps Photoshop
Id InDesign
Figma
Just a heads up, this is based on our client's preference, so designs made in other tools like Canva won't be accepted for this task. Nothing against Canva, we love it too!

Your resources

Give both of these a good read before you start designing.

Creative Visual Guide

This shows the client's design style across their emails, website, and paid media, your work should feel right at home next to these.

Open Guide

Need to jump back to a specific brief while you're designing? Here are quick links to each one, grouped by campaign.

Colour Launch Campaign

How to approach it

  1. Start with the visual guide. Take some time to get a feel for the client's branding, colours, typography, and overall style before you open your design tool.
  2. Pick a campaign to start with. Since there are two, Colour Launch and Sale, decide which one you'd like to tackle first, then choose which asset within it to start on.
  3. Read the brief for that asset. Check the copy and requirements provided so you know exactly what needs to be included.
  4. Create your design. Bring it to life while keeping that brand feel front and centre.
  5. Save it to your Google Drive folder. Pop each file into the right campaign subfolder as you finish it.
  6. Name your files clearly. For example, "COLOUR LAUNCH - EMAIL" saved inside the Colour Launch Campaign folder. See the folder guide below for reference.
  7. Submit when you're done. Fill in the form below with your name and the link to your main Google Drive folder.

How your folder should look

[Your Name] - Demo
Colour Launch Campaign
COLOUR LAUNCH - EMAIL
COLOUR LAUNCH - WEB ASSET
COLOUR LAUNCH - PAID ASSET
Sale Campaign
SALE - EMAIL
SALE - WEB ASSET
SALE - PAID ASSET
SALE - VIDEO

Submitting your work

We'd love to see your work within 3 to 4 business days of getting this brief. Please rest on the weekends, they don't count! And if you need a bit more time, just let us know via email so we can inform the client, no stress!

I'm sorry, ok!

Please pop everything into one main Google Drive folder, with two subfolders inside: one for the Colour Launch Campaign and one for the Sale Campaign. Label each file clearly by deliverable (for example, "Colour Launch - Email", "Sale - Video"), and make sure sharing is set to "Anyone with the link can view" for the main folder and everything inside it.

Once that's all set, use the form below to submit, just add your name and the link to your main Google Drive folder.

Rest assured, your files and outputs will never be used by the client, they're only for demo purposes as part of the selection process for shortlisted candidates. Feel free to add a watermark if that helps you feel more comfortable.
